Getting around

It's great when so many good, interesting and delicious things are so close by. A hideaway where the sun tastes sweet, the warm air smells of ripe oranges and olive trees glisten in the light. But how do you get to this wonderful place?

The nearest international airport is Catania-Fontanarossa (CAT). From here, it takes about an hour by car via the (very pleasantly empty) motorway.
A little closer is the small Comiso Airport (CIY), but it only serves domestic flights.

To explore Sicily away from the city centres, a car is the best option. Although there are buses from various providers connecting the most important places, catching the right one with Sicilian-style flexible departure times can be challenging.
